Canadian firms are including China in their plans, realizing that growth cannot depend on trade with the US alone.  But many find it hard to take early steps, overwhelmed by the challenges. This half-day seminar will tackle some of the key challenges and fears that Canadian firms have, including:

  • How do I fund my expansion?
  • How does a firm like mine set up properly to do business with or in China?
  • What about my intellectual property and other legal issues?
  • How do I ensure that the products I make or source there meet my quality standards?

This practical, case-oriented program, brought to you by the Canada China Business Council and hosted by London Economic Development, gathers experts from a variety of fields to inform and advise participants.  In addition to sessions on the key topics, participants can sign up for one-on-one consultations to address specific questions regarding their China strategy.  CCBC staff, speakers, and other CCBC members with deep experience in China will be available for these 15-minute consultation sessions, which are available to all attendees.
