Todd Evans is director of Export Development Canada’s Corporate Research Department (CRD). The CRD is a strategic research and policy analysis team whose primary mandate is to conduct targeted research on topics and issues of importance to EDC and its clients. The Team’s research and analysis is used to develop and support EDC policies and strategic direction, and as input for decision making among senior management. Todd also oversees EDC’s Information Centre, which manages EDC’s data and information service requirements. Prior to heading up EDC’s Corporate Research team, Mr. Evans was the Director of EDC Economics for several years. Todd Evans has more than 20 years of experience as a professional economist. He has worked with various public and private sector organizations including the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, the Economic Council of Canada, The Conference Board of Canada and HLB Inc. Mr. Evans has a BA degree in economics and statistics from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MA degree in economics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
