From its six campuses in Southern Ontario, Medix School specializes in provides training in programs relevant to employers in the life sciences field. The programs are Medical and General Laboratory Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Intra Oral Dental Assistant,Denta l Hygienist, Personal Support Worker, Pharmacy Assistant, Social Services Worker, Developmental Service Worker and Massage Therapy. Continuing education programs are also available. The programs include a supervised unpaid work placement that provides hands-on practical training. Graduates are hired to work in diverse organizations, including research and clinical. Medix School is registered and approved as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, which is administered by the Ministry of Education and Training. |
