London’s I.T. sector has been built on innovative local start-up ventures finding a niche market and growing into successful Canadian and global players.
Among our many success stories are Phoenix Interactive Technologies, which pioneered banking software solutions to the global market.
Western offers programs in Computer Science and Software and Computer Engineering graduating ~ 170 students each year. Departmental research interests include Artificial Intelligence & Logic Programming, Graphics & Image Processing, Software & Systems, Symbolic Computation and Theory of Computing. Western offers upper-level students an optional internship program that has proven to be a very effective way of linking students with local I.T. companies.
Fanshawe offers a number of Information Technology, Networking and Systems programs graduating ~ 250 students each year.
