Established in 1878, Western University plays an integral role in education and training in London. With an annual enrolment of more than 33,000 students and some 235,000 alumni worldwide, Western provides the region with a constant stream of skilled graduates from more than 60 undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs.

Western is one of Canada’s leading research-intensive universities, and currently attracts close to $220 million annually in research grants. A national leader in teaching, more Western faculty members have been awarded the prestigious national 3M Teaching Fellowship than any other Ontario university. Western has had four Rhodes Scholars in the past eight years, as well as four Goldman Sachs award winners in the past three years. Our average entering grade was 86 per cent last year.

There are three colleges affiliated with Western: - King’s College, Brescia College and Huron College.
