The University of Western Ontario
Established in 1878, The University of Western Ontario (Western) plays an integral role in education and training in London. With an annual enrolment of more than 30,000 students and some 190,000 alumni worldwide, Western provides the region with a constant stream of skilled graduates from more than 50 undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs.
Western is one of Canada’s leading research-intensive universities, and currently attracts close to $150 million annually in research grants.
