Business Networking

Business and community representatives play a vital role at the Student-2-Business Networking Event.  At this dynamic conference business and community representatives are able to:

  1. help students understand businesses and industry present here in London.
  2. connect with students who may be excellent future workers for their business.

The event is not a job fair but a chance to make connections and help broaden the students’ knowledge of our economy. The rationale for hosting the event is based on a simple equation:

Demand: Connecting with potential employees is increasingly important to our local businesses and many companies are already looking at creative and non-traditional ways of attracting talent.
+ Supply: Fanshawe College and The University of Western Ontario are filled with highly valuable skilled and talented students getting ready to graduate to the world of work and we want them to consider London as a place to launch their careers.
    = Solution: Student-2-Business Networking Conference

The support of business and the community is critical to the success of such events and will enhance London’s ability to keep these valuable future workers. We are seeking support from the business and community sector for this event.  As a business/community representative you can provide that support in three ways:

  • Sponsor the event
  • Attend the event
  • Encourage others to attend or sponsor the even
