The Morrissette Entrepreneurship Speaker Series with Kevin Mako (HBA '07) is taking place on October 22nd at 4:30 PM

When graduating from Western, Mako had two career paths.

One was a guaranteed six-figure salary in investment banking, the other a "shaky" startup and potential bankruptcy.

He chose the latter.

Over the next 17 years, Mako built the world's leading design firm for start-ups and entrepreneurs, helping over 1,500 clients design everything from toys to barbeques!

Discover the lessons learnt from a career of building something big, one deal at a time, and how Mako turned $50,000 student debt into an 8-figure acquisition by TriMech Group / Sentinel Capital.

**Location:** Schmeichel Building, Collaborator Space
