The provincial government is partnering with two manufacturing companies to create and retain over 80 jobs in London.

Artisan Metal Finishing is getting $348,510 to help create 21 new jobs and retain 25 existing positions.

Attica Manufacturing will receive $242,990 to help create 12 new jobs and retain 28 existing positions.

The investments are coming through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.

“Artisan Metal Finishing has been in business for over 25 years and was known as an electroplating company (Artisan Plating),” says Barry Foley, president of Artisan Metal Finishing. “With this latest investment, our team will be able to offer greater flexibility, more finishing options, and further prepare for future industry requirements, serving our growing client base.”

Andy Mavrokefalos, president of Attica Manufacturing, says the investment takes the company to the next level in terms of the integrated suite of services they offer to their customers.

“From prototyping and design work, through to the production of specialized, complex components,” says Mavrokefalos. “Our business is based on advanced technology, but our core values remain traditional: a commitment to quality and shared passion for exceeding our customers’ expectations.”
