Pillar Policy Talk: What Happens Now?

Dates

-

The budgets are in – the federal budget, the provincial budget, and the City’s Multi-Year Budget 2024-27. As a sector, we had real influence -- but we didn't get everything we want, nor everything our communities need.

So what does it mean for the nonprofit sector and the communities we serve? What kind of year will we have? How will we live? Is there anything we can do about it?

There is, if we do it together.

What became clear in Pillar’s 2023 Policy Talk events is that there is a powerful desire to collaborate in the sector, to build our collective voice and guide our communities and our governments to better solutions. Pillar is calling on the sector and the community to continue this work in 2024 with a new series of Policy Talk events, beginning Thursday, May 30.

Let’s join together in person at Innovation Works where Pillar will launch a summer of research and storytelling about the state of the sector and the potential for real change in the London Economic Region.

We can’t do it without you.

This is how I can help.
