Smiling VERY big because Booch was selected as one of the very lucky recipients of a Desjardins GoodSpark Grant!! Out of 3800 applicants, Booch was one of the chosen 150 businesses to receive this grant and I couldn't be more grateful! A very big thank you to Desjardins and Joel Mahon for sharing this news... we are so proud to be recognized in the Food and Beverage space, and to have received this incredible financial support!

Very grateful that we were able to work with Fanshawe's CRI and NSERC to ensure our kombucha met the standards while we began to increase distribution across Canada!
Presenting a unique research project success story from Fanshawe CRI: Development of kombucha ethanol control for large batches for Booch Organic Kombucha Booch—one of the largest kombucha breweries in Ontario, and top three largest in Canada—manufactures organic craft kombucha, focusing particularly on local and seasonal ingredients and sustainable practices. *** The challenge: Booch needed a method to control ethanol levels throughout the brewing, fermenting, and flavouring processes, in order to maintain a final ethanol level below regulatory requirements. The result: Fanshawe faculty and student research assistants · Analyzed the ethanol content of kombucha at various stages · Identified key factors involved in the production of ethanol · Recommended a filtration method that successfully reduced ethanol levels to the target amount · Determined the proper instruments to measure and detect trace amounts of ethanol *This project was supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). #UnlockingInnovation #FoodInnovation

Have you heard the news about Squeeze!?
Really excited that our newest product has just shipped to Western Canada! and will be available from MB ---> BC!! Squeeze Sparkling Water was born from my own personal experience of wanting a healthy beverage option that had zero calories, no flavour extracts and no strange aftertaste. I decided to infuse real botanicals, freshly squeezed lemon juice and trace minerals into sparkling water for a new water experience. Squeeze is a circular economy project intended to minimize ingredient waste and we use up-cycled lemongrass in every can, and also donate to charities that support the birds, the bees and the trees! We are on the look out for the right distributor for Eastern Canada! Please feel free to tag any partner who you've enjoyed working with!!
