Techalliance had the honour to announce five winners at Limitless: A Celebration of Regional Innovation, held virtually on February 9, 2022. This celebration put a spotlight on the businesses and entrepreneurs who are advancing innovative solutions, cultivating equitable company cultures, and showcasing innovative growth and success within our bright and vibrant region.
The recipients were selected by illustrious industry leaders, with the People’s Choice Award chosen via public voting. The awards and recipients in each category are as follows:
The Breakthrough Award recognizes a technology-driven company who demonstrates next-level innovation with a novel solution that has seen significant impact. Congratulations to ChargerQuest, the Breakthrough Award recipient.
The Gamechanger Award recognizes a company who creates a positive impact through company culture, going above and beyond, committing to equity, diversity, and inclusion within Southwestern Ontario’s tech community. Congratulations to eSupply Canada, the Gamechanger Award recipient.
The Scaleup Award recognizes a technology-powered venture that has realized substantial growth within the year through leadership, market impact, and innovation. Congratulations to Paystone, the Scaleup Award recipient.
The Forthcomer Award recognizes a young professional and true trailblazer, 29 years of age and under, who is creating an impact in the world of innovation. Congratulations to Shawn Miller of Sizewize, the Forthcomer Award recipient.
The People’s Choice Award honours a standout in the innovation space, selected from the finalists across all categories and awarded via virtual public voting. Congratulations to 1Password, the People’s Choice Award recipient, and a Canadian company who has shattered all prior Series C fundraising records.
