July Talk has three successive July-winning alternative rock albums: 2021’s Pray For It, 2017’s Touch and and its self-titled debut album in 2015, which included a nomination for breakthrough group of the year. It has had seven top-10 singles, including the chart-topping Push + Pull.

Big Wreck is best-known for the ’90s hits Oaf (My Luck is Wasted) and That Song. The single Albatross topped the charts in 2011. The band has received four Juno nominations for the albums Albatross (2013), Ghosts (2015), Grace Street (2018) and . . . But for the Sun (2020).

The Trews, formed in the late ’90s in Nova Scotia but now based in Hamilton, has been a constant presence on the charts and cross-country tours over the last 25 years with six Juno nominations and 10 top-10 singles. It’s now touring in support of its seventh studio album, Wanderers.

Jones said after two years of concert silence in the park due to the pandemic, “it’s time to get back together.”

“After two full years of Canadian artists struggling, we decided to put four of the best Canadian rock acts together on one night and make it a night to remember,” said Jones.

“There is nothing better than being outdoors in the summer with friends enjoying music. We are back.”
