The World Premiere of Lasker-Schüler Songs composed by our own Scott Good. Midori Marsh’s unique counter-culture virtuosity will bring the poems by the radical poet and Bohemian artist Else Lasker-Schüler to life.

A very special performance of Dvořák’s “Silent Woods” by Christine Newland, principal cello with London Symphonia and Orchestra London for 48 years. There is no finer way to recognize Christine’s retirement from the orchestra than her performance of this much cherished piece with her colleagues.

Debussy’s beautiful symphonic poem, Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, which heralded a revolution in music over 100 years ago and still creates a magical effect for listeners today.
