Canstruction London 2026

Canstruction is a creative design and build competition where teams construct impressive structures entirely from canned goods, combining art, architecture, and advocacy to raise awareness about hunger. After the event, all cans are donated to the London Food Bank to support families facing food insecurity. In 2026, teams will celebrate Canadian Pride through builds inspired by national landmarks, wildlife, cultural symbols, and icons such as Terry Fox, showcasing the spirit, generosity, and creativity of the community—one can at a time.

The public is invited to join the event at White Oaks Mall for the public voting phase June 5–15 to pick a favourite structure and vote, vote, vote. $5 per vote goes directly to Salvation Army London Family Services, and the winner of the People's Choice Award receives bragging rights and a beautiful glass award to mark the occasion.
