CoQuest: A Collaborative Forum on Creative Localism
Dates
CoQuest is a collaborative, four day journey, bringing together grassroots creatives, independent artists and local change makers in London, Ontario. Together, we will uncover what’s possible when we empower creative communities to self organize and provide them with the resources needed to advance their craft 🎨
The adventure begins with an open forum at Reimagine Co featuring workshops, talkback panels & creative jams. This is followed by a day long festival at Sevens Social, highlighting local musicians, visual artists, theatre performers, artisans and more 🎪🎶🎭
Over the course of the event participants will experience the diverse talent that London has to offer, while discussing questions like:
- How can we create more impactful funding models for the arts?
- What can communities do to better allocate resources towards emerging talent?
- Should creative professionals engage with emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, AR & VR?
- Why is it so difficult for artists to earn a living wage?
