As part of the Centre for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion’s (CEDI) signature speaker series, Fanshawe will welcome former Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne on October 21 at 10:30 a.m., in the Village Square (Innovation Village).

Join CEDI Director Joseph Pazzano as they engage in conversation with the former premier about her experiences as Canada’s first openly gay head of government and Ontario’s first woman premier.

With over 20 years in public life, Wynne also served as a Member of Provincial Parliament, Ontario’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, Minister of Transportation, Minister of Education, and Minister of Agriculture and Food.

Premier Wynne will share lessons in leadership, offer perspectives on navigating times of challenge and change, and empowering students and staff to think about their role in addressing this current moment of equity work and inclusion for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Every Fanshawe community member – regardless of their background or experiences – will take something away from this crucial conversation. Don’t miss it!

Fanshawe staff will receive credit toward their EDIfied Learning Series certification by attending this event.
