Event Description:

The Government of Ontario continues to support Ontario businesses in expanding globally through targeted export business missions. Companies are invited to participate in the Ontario Semiconductor and Electronics Export Business Mission to Electronica 2026 in Munich, Germany, complemented by a business outreach program in the United Kingdom.

Electronica is a leading global trade fair in the electronics sector that brings users, buyers, and decision-makers together with experts from all sectors of the industry and creates an international platform where projects can be outlined, business initiated, and contracts signed. Companies of all sizes are represented on the exhibitor and visitor side. Another advantage is that the SEMICON Europa show will be held simultaneously, creating even more opportunities for Ontario companies. It brings together the entire world of electronics. At Electronica 2024, more than 70,000 people from 100 countries visited the stands of more than 2,200 exhibitors.

A targeted outreach program in the UK prior to Electronica 2026 will enable Ontario companies to engage directly with UK-based semiconductor buyers, R&D organizations, and high-growth scale-ups, while accessing the broader UK innovation corridor spanning London, Cambridge, and Bristol, three of Europe’s most influential microelectronics clusters. Early engagement in this market will allow Ontario firms to build market intelligence, develop qualified leads, and initiate partnership discussions that can be advanced and deepened during Electronica, where global decision-makers from the electronics and semiconductor industry converge.

The significance of Electronica is underscored by its biennial occurrence. Joining the Ontario delegation for this event presents an exceptional opportunity for Ontario companies to showcase their products and services to a global audience in the electronics sector.

The mission will be delivered in close collaboration with Ontario’s Trade and Investment Offices in Europe, the Trade Commissioner Service, and relevant industry associations.

The mission program will include:

• 1:1 export advice and consultation
• Site Visits
• Market and sector briefings to provide updates on trends and opportunities in key European markets
• Individual co-exhibitor turn-in ready kiosk within the Ontario/Canada pavilion.
• Exhibitor passes
• B2B matchmaking and networking opportunities
• Marketing and promotional support
• On-site assistance during the trade show

Booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Companies that complete payment first will have priority in selecting their booth location. Applications will be reviewed and approved as they are received, so it’s important that companies complete the registration by paying the fee promptly to secure their spot.

The cost of exhibiting is $4,290
