On November 8th, 2026, at Centennial Hall, LoveYourself Canada and CMHA Thames Valley will be co-hosting the first-ever Open Minds Wellness Expo, a free wellness event!
We will bring together over 60 mental health care professionals and wellness organizations, to showcase the full range of resources and services available to all the communities in London, Ontario and area.
Additionally, the back of the expo will feature several presentations by local mental health experts on important educational topics. Allowing everyone a chance to learn a little more about their mental health. You can catch "Youth Mental Health" by Karissa Paterson @1PM, "The Work Between Sessions" by Erin Ross @2PM, "Optimize Your Mental Fitness with Neurofeedback" by Susan Gillies @3PM and "Understand Grief" by Gabrielle Ferguson @4PM
The Kiwana's Parking Lot next to the hall will be donating their profits from the day to CMHA Thames Valley, we encourage drivers to park there upon arrival!
According to a 2025 report from the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), 41% of adults in Canada (age 18+) with a diagnosed mental-health condition reported their needs ;were partially or completely unmet.
What these numbers tell us is that people are becoming more aware that they need help, but are struggling to find the support that feels accessible, comfortable, and safe for them. Having easy to understand access to reliable services is something the public is calling out for.
