About Our Guest Speaker

James Demers (he/him) is a licensed skilled trades carpenter turned diversity educator and workplace consultant. With over 15 years of experience, James helps organizations build inclusive, accessible, and equitable workplaces. He has led initiatives in leadership development, employee engagement, and workplace accessibility—and specializes in creating adaptable training tailored to diverse teams. Based in Treaty 7 Territory (Mo’kinsis), James is committed to removing barriers, enhancing employee experiences, and driving meaningful organizational change.
