About the speakers:
Jim Beretta is the President of Customer Attraction, a London-based marketing consultancy serving advanced manufacturing, robotics and automation and the host of The Robot Industry Podcast. Jim works with technology companies across North America to position and build brands and drive sales growth using bold approaches to marketing and market leadership. Jim is a speaker on topics including automation, robotics, marketing, social and digital marketing strategy.
Chuck Baresich is the General Manager at Haggerty Creek Ltd. and Haggerty AgRobotics Company, with a demonstrated history of working in the food production industry. Skilled in negotiation, agronomy, business planning, customer service, and agribusiness. Chuck is a strong sales professional with a Bachelor of Commerce focused on Agricultural Business and Management from University of Guelph. Using a solution-based approach, though his work at Haggerty Creek Ltd, he brings advanced technology to agricultural producers.
Konrad Konnerth is the founder and president of KONNEXIO Inc., a London based custom automation and robotics company. He also serves as the Chair of the Board at TechAlliance, a London-based Regional Innovation Centre. Founded in 2003, KONNEXIO has developed innovative automation and robotics platforms under the vision and direction of Konrad. These pre-engineered and standardized platforms serve as base systems for customer-centric industrial and greenhouse automation solutions. Konrad immigrated to Canada in 1994 from Germany, where he completed university degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, participated in an inaugural university exchange program in Lisbon, Portugal, and gained work experience with Siemens in production strategy/planning as well as with OKU Automatik, as a design engineer for high-speed assembly automation for international projects. In his first 9 years in Canada, Konrad became the Technical Director at OKU Canada, before branching out to start his own venture KONNEXIO. As Chair of the Board at TechAlliance, he leads the strategic oversight of a vibrant technology sector, supporting the start-up, scaling and technology exchange of Tech Companies in Southwestern Ontario.
