A public screening forRoot Awakening, a new documentary series that explores food insecurity, dignity, and community through the story of The PATCH—an urban farm in the heart of London, Ontario will be held in the Auburn Stage at The Grand Theatre on February 18, 2026.
Following co-founder Faye Simmons across a full growing season, the series captures the challenges and triumphs of a farm that supplies fresh produce to emergency shelters and the London Food Bank while creating meaningful training and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Commissioned by Bell Fibe TV1 and produced by web.isod.es in collaboration with Hutton House, Root Awakening is a powerful portrait of how communities come together to build a more accessible and food-secure future.
