The theme ‘SPARK’ for this year’s tCAN conference embodies a sense of energy and vitality, suggesting inspiration, and the ignition of new ideas. The connotation of a ‘SPARK’ is often associated with creativity and transformation, as it can represent the initial moment that leads to larger developments or changes – and the moment is now!
Agency owners are running out of runway. It’s not about ambition or talent – it’s that the traditional agency model is out of sync with the new needs of clients and the world around them. Layered with outdated workflows, margin pressure, shifting client expectations, and now the force multiplier of AI, agency leaders face a decision: optimize a broken system or redesign it from the ground up.
SPARK is meant to ignite something real, but it must be grounded in truth – even when that truth is uncomfortable. tCAN 2026 will represent a watershed moment for both the network and its members. After this moment, things can never go back to exactly the way they were.
