Gathering Around Jill’s Table: A Journey Through Food
Jill Wilcox is the owner of Jill’s Table, an award-winning specialty food and kitchen store in downtown London, Ontario.
Jill’s Table has been a beloved destination for foodies, home cooks, and professional chefs for 25 years. Jill has been leading popular cooking classes for more than 30 years, sharing her passion for food with others.
Jill is also a celebrated food columnist for the London Free Press and Post Media. Her stories and recipes have been enjoyed by readers for more than 44 years.
She also leads culinary tours through France, Italy, Spain, Ireland and Portugal.
Jill has been awarded the London Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award in the small business category, The London Y Women of Excellence award in the Business, Trades and Profession category and PHSS Laudable Londoner.
Jill’s Table is also a proud recipient of the Retailer of the Year Award for Housewares and Gourmet Foods, awarded by the Canadian Gift and Tablewares Association.
Jill was inducted into the London and District Business Hall of Fame in 2023, a recognition that honors London and area business owners for their outstanding contributions to business, entrepreneurship and philanthropy.
In 2012 she started the Jill Wilcox Foundation to grant funding to food-related and education projects that support women and children in need.
Jill has published seven cookbooks including, Jill’s Favourites, Jill’s Soups Stews & Breads, Jill’s Essentials, Jill’s Starters, Jill’s Soups, Welcome to Jill’s Table and The Creative Kitchen.
She and her husband have five children, four grandchildren and a large extended family. They regularly gather for meals around her large table, which brings her immense joy.
