Why does LEDC run job boards?
We’re not an employment agency — but we work directly with employers, and talent is their #1 issue.
If we want companies to keep growing and investing in London, we need to make it easier for them to find the skilled people they need. Our job boards are part of that support, helping bridge the gap between opportunity and access.
They're also part of a bigger strategy to build a resilient workforce, attract new talent, and make London a destination for careers, not just jobs.
What job boards does LEDC run?
We operate three targeted, sector-specific boards:
- LondonTechJobs.ca – launched in 2012
- LondonManufacturingJobs.ca – since 2018
- LondonHealthJobs.ca – new in 2023
Each board was created in direct response to local employer demand, because when sectors grow faster than the talent pipeline, we step in to help.
Are the job boards effective?
We promote our job boards through targeted campaigns like the successful "Don't Tell Toronto" and "Choose London," as well as through job fairs and outreach efforts at the local, regional, national, and international levels. The boards receive over 80,000 monthly views and feature more than 5,000 job postings from 200+ local employers in 2025—driving qualified traffic straight to company websites.
What makes LEDC’s job boards different?
Automation, partnerships, and less admin for employers.
We’ve partnered with Knighthunter, Fanshawe College, Western University, and the London Jobs Hub to ensure that when a job is posted on our boards, it’s automatically shared across all these platforms — expanding reach without extra work.
Through a partnership with Bamboo Innovations and some of London’s largest employers, we’ve also developed an AI-driven tool that scans verified career pages and pulls jobs directly into our boards. This reduces manual posting and will be rolled out more broadly to save time and streamline the process for even more companies.
