London, ON, July 19, 2021 – AutoVerify is proud to announce that Dee Murphy has been named Digital Desking Manager at the rapidly growing automotive software company. AutoVerify is powered by parent-company Mobials Inc.
Murphy comes to AutoVerify with over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, developing extensive knowledge of both the front and back ends of the dealership business. Murphy has held positions within dealerships and dealer group credit centres and has also made significant impact in the vendor side of the industry, holding executive-level positions with other Canadian financial technology companies.
As co-founder of The Liminal Place, Murphy is a strong advocate for women in the automotive industry. The Liminal Place is a women-driven community that provides a venue for women to find support and mentorship as they navigate the challenging issue of gender bias in the automotive industry. Murphy is also an accomplished public speaker, having served as the keynote speaker at the 2020 Women & Automotive digital conference. She was also a 2021 Women & Automotive profiles in leadership honouree.
“Over the past 10 years, I have been fully immersed in many areas of the Canadian automotive industry,” explains Murphy, “I’ve been watching AutoVerify and Mobials for quite some time. I have been impressed by their growth and success, but what most excites me about this opportunity is that this is clearly a company that is focused on continuous improvement. AutoVerify listens to their customers, they are not afraid to take chances, and they have proven themselves as industry leaders that are helping dealers succeed and adapt to these changing times.”
Murphy’s hiring comes as AutoVerify and its parent-company Mobials Inc. embark on an exciting period of growth and innovation. With recent additions of E-Commerce and Digital Merchandising functions to the Digital Retailing Suite, the AutoVerify team has also launched a Digital Desking product, powered by DealerCorp. This product aims to help dealers future-proof their business as more customers are looking for the option to have flexible, collaborative negotiations around their vehicle purchase from the comfort of their own homes.
“Acquiring best-in-class talent is part of our core fabric at AutoVerify,” says Marty Meadows, President at AutoVerify. ”Having Dee join our team will once again elevate our best-in-class solution for automotive dealers across the country.”
