Canadian Agrobotics & AI Summit Puts the Future of Food on Display in London This March

On March 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Grove at the Western Fair District will host the Canadian Agrobotics & AI Summit, a national gathering focused on where agriculture and technology are heading next. The event brings innovators, producers, researchers and investors together in one room, all with a shared goal: advancing how food is grown, processed and scaled in Canada.

As pressures around labour shortages, productivity and sustainability intensify, agrobotics and artificial intelligence are no longer theoretical. They are being deployed now to help businesses stay competitive and resilient. For London and the surrounding region, this one-day summit offers a timely look at how these technologies are being adopted across Canada and where the strongest opportunities are emerging within the agri-food sector, insights that align closely with the broader innovation ecosystem supported by LEDC.

Hosted by Agrobotics Working Group, the summit will explore how automation, robotics and data-driven tools are reshaping farming and food processing. Topics range from precision agriculture and autonomous equipment to smarter, faster decision-making across the supply chain. The emphasis is on real-world application, with speakers who are actively building, testing and scaling solutions in Canadian operations.

The location matters. As London’s agri-food innovation hub, The Grove has quickly become a magnet for entrepreneurs, startups and established companies looking to collaborate across sectors. Hosting a national summit in this space reinforces London’s growing role as a connector between agriculture, advanced manufacturing and technology, and a place where ideas move efficiently from concept to commercialization.

The Canadian Agrobotics & AI Summit is supported by a strong mix of regional and national partners, including The Grove, RH Accelerator Fund, 519 Growth Fund, Haggerty Agrobotics, the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada. For LEDC, the event reflects the kind of ecosystem-building activity that strengthens the agri-food and food processing sector overall, helping companies connect with ideas, talent and innovation pathways that drive long-term growth.

What sets this summit apart is its range. It speaks to farmers exploring what automation could mean for their operations, startups seeking pilot projects or strategic partners, and investors looking for insight into where ag-tech is gaining traction. It is equally relevant for food processors, logistics firms and anyone working at the intersection of agriculture and technology who wants a clearer view of where the sector is moving.

Interest in agrobotics and AI is accelerating across Canada, and events like this are becoming essential touchpoints for learning and connection. Registration is now open, and space is limited. More details and registration information are available here.
