About the Program
Employers with less than 500 paid employees are eligible for $5,000 or $10,000 grants to offset the costs of hiring and training first year apprentices in 39 Red Seal Trades.
Who can Participate?
Small and medium-sized businesses
• Micro (1 to 4 employees)
• Small (5 to 99 employees)
• Medium (100 to 499 employees)
Financial Incentives
• $5,000 per apprentice per year for a max of two Level 1 apprentices per employer; or
• $10,000 per apprentice per year for a max of two Level 1 apprentices if the apprentice identifies as being from an under-represented group.
