Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s “Opening Pitch” event moves to London to tee up 2026 Induction Weekend

Monday, April 27, 2026 – For the first time ever, The Opening Pitch, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s Induction Weekend opening reception, moves from Toronto and will be hosted in London at Toboggan Brewing Company.

Scheduled for Thursday, June 18 from 6-10pm, the Opening Pitch provides an exclusive and intimate opportunity for fans to meet, share a beverage and chat with the Class of 2026, along with other special guests. This event is the first of many during Induction Weekend which also includes the annual Celebrity Golf Classic and Banquet, and the Induction Ceremony both in St. Mary’s.

Confirmed guests for 2026 include the 2026 Hall of FamersDevon White, Stubby Clapp, Bill Stoneman, Kate Psota, Paul Runge and the family of Jim Bab, plus Fergie Jenkins, Ashley Stephenson, Jeff Francis and others.
