With more than 300 companies employing over 8,000 people, London has a booming tech sector. To help the industry grow further, the London Economic Development Corporation was in Kitchener encouraging some of the industry's brightest minds in the tri-cities region to look westward down highway 401 for employment opportunities.
The Communitech Tech Jobs + Recruitment Event was abuzz with job seekers and employers shaking hands and making connections at Bingemans Ballroom on November 13, 2013.
"London offers fantastic opportunities to work with companies with a global reach as well as enjoy a great quality of life," explained Kapil Lakhotia, interim-general manager, LEDC. "A strong tech industry will be an integral part of our city’s continued growth for years to come and we’re excited to share the potential and promise that London has to offer."
With more than 700 candidates attending the largest in-person recruitment event organized by Communitech, London's tech sector showed its muscle with some of our tech friends who were present at Bingemans. The London Economic Development Corporation attended the event proudly supporting the city's growing tech sector represented by companies like StarTech.com, Voices.com, Info Tech Research Group, Autodata Solutions, ZTR, IO Industries Inc and Cineplex Digital Solutions
