Lesley Cornelius is leaving the London Economic Development Corporation for the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
The marketing and communications director with the LEDC will take over alumni relations at the school.
"I have worked a lot with Ivey over the last few years and they approached me about this opportunity," said Cornelius, who will be working to develop strategies to strengthen relations with alumni worldwide.
The Western graduate has taken Ivey courses in marketing management and leadership programs. She has been at the LEDC now for more than three years.
" I have been given a lot of opportunity in marketing, communications and business development and met wonderful people. This community is starting to move forward with a positive energy, London is going places, we are on the map and making contacts around the world."
