Creative Collaboration

Emerging Partnerships

New and exciting things are always happening in London’s innovative and creative digital sector.

Recently, two of London’s leading digital firms, Digital Echidna and ResIM, announced they are forming a strategic partnership to combine their areas of expertise. Digital Echidna has earned a reputation as one of Canada’s leading experts in development on the Drupal Content Management System (CMS). ResIM is an industry leader in user experience research, design and consulting.

This targeted approach will expand the impact and performance of London’s technology sector. The two companies will combine their expertise to deliver premium solutions for clients that are growing in scope and demand.

Additionally, it was announced Big Blue Bubble’s Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder will be partnering with a computer science professor at Western University, with the aim to develop the future of Western’s game design program, making the university a leading destination for studying and launching a career in the industry.

Western was named among the top designations in the world to study and launch a career in game design, so it’s a great way to build on their position in the industry.

2016 Explode Conference

Within the digital creative sector, there are designers, programmers, photographers, technicians, content creators and more. It’s not often these different industry professionals have the chance to collaborate and/or form partnerships. So a local London group decided to change that to encourage idea sharing on a larger level.

Explode Conference, hosted by Fanshawe College and UnLondon Digital Media Association, will be held on May 5th and 6th, 2016 at Fanshawe’s Centre for Digital and Performance Arts, located at 137 Dundas Street in London, Ontario.

The conference gives the digital creative community a chance to converge and share and provoke, enabling the intersection of entrepreneurs, designers and developers. It allows designers, authors, artists, developers and other creative minds a chance to congregate outside of their disciplines and interact with the creative community across Southwestern Ontario.

“Your ideas and passions are ready to launch – let’s make them explode!”
