Canadian company aims to be world leader in endocrinology testing.
London, Ontario, September 14 – Diagnostics Biochem Canada Inc. (DBC), maker of in vitro diagnostic kits used in research and diagnostic labs world wide, will make its first appearance at MEDICA, the world’s largest annual medical trade fair, taking place November 16-19 in Düsseldorf Germany.
Established in London, Ontario over 40 years ago, DBC specializes in high-quality enzyme linked immunoassay (ELISA) and chemiluminescent (CLIA) diagnostic kits. The company currently offers a wide range of both ELISA and CLIA kits to test for a growing list of diseases, with more kits to come.
“We really have been focused on becoming world No. 1 for endocrinology testing,” says Manon Hogue, DBC’s owner and chief executive officer. “DBC is also currently focusing on the development of ELISA and CLIA kits in other medical fields such as cardiac health and cancer.”
In addition, DBC offers similar products for testing in oncology, cardiology, and the diabetes/metabolism fields.
Aware that MEDICA is the world stage for new medical products and innovation, DBC is bringing its top management, scientific, and medical people to the fair.
“The majority of both our research and our development scientists hold advanced degrees, including MDs, Masters, and PhDs,” says CEO Hogue. “So even though our company is continually growing in size, this wide variety of qualified, talented, and committed people enables us to maintain both quality and continual improvement in our products.”
At MEDICA this year, DBC welcomes the media, potential distributors and clients, as well as other visitors to the Diagnostics Biochem Canada Inc booth, K-51 in Hall #3.
