LONDON, ON – Dec. 18, 2020 As the finale of the Business Cares Food Drive approaches, campaign chair Wayne Dunn says that the need is still there and that the campaign would love Londoners’ support - but with one caveat.
"Every year the generosity of the London community is inspiring. However, with Covid still upon us we are aware of the future increasing needs at the food bank over the coming winter months,” said Business Cares campaign chair Wayne Dunn. “If Londoners are looking to donate to the cause, we’d greatly appreciate the support - but only if you’re able.
“We know this is a challenging time for many in our community, so we ask people to only give if they can and to the degree they’re comfortable.”
The 21st annual Business Cares Food Drive concludes on Tues., Dec. 22, 2020.
Food and cash or cheque donations may be dropped off at the JMP Warehouse and Business Cares Headquarters, or call 519-661-9803 to arrange donation pick-ups. Cheques should be made out to "London and Area Food Bank/Business Cares." Donations may also be made online at businesscares.ca.
