Upcoming Virtual Job Fair
The next wave of hiring in London, Ontario, is happening right at home. On November 5, job seekers and employers from across the region will come together for Get Hired at Home: London Region, a free community-based virtual hiring event co-hosted by Devant and the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC). Designed to connect talented candidates with growing companies, the event blends technology with personal interaction to make recruiting smarter and more efficient.
Unlike a traditional job fair, Get Hired at Home: London Region brings candidates and employers together in a streamlined, interactive online environment designed for meaningful connections. Powered by Devant’s London-made platform, the experience features live presentations, branded company pages, and AI-driven matchmaking that connects job seekers with roles aligned to their skills and goals.
For employers, the event offers more than exposure. It’s a chance to save time and connect with qualified candidates who are eager to make an impact with their organization. For job seekers, it’s a convenient, low-pressure space to explore new possibilities and connect with companies driving innovation and growth across the London region.
This digital approach complements, rather than replaces, the momentum of the long-standing LAW Job Fair at White Oaks, providing employers and candidates with additional opportunities to connect. “Get Hired at Home: London Region gives employers a more strategic way to connect with talent,” said Christine Wilton, Director of Workforce development at LEDC. “It’s focused, measurable, and tailored to the needs of both the employers and the job seekers.”
Beyond immediate hiring needs, the initiative helps gather valuable data and insights to better understand London’s evolving labour market—information that strengthens future recruitment and workforce planning.
This year’s virtual event will feature a wide range of employers, including Canada Life, PowerCo Canada, WSIB, Jones Healthcare Group, London Health Sciences Centre, City of London, Andriani, Buckland, TrackUnit, and Northern.co, among others.

The initiative connects local talent and employers in one dynamic space, fosters collaboration, generates data-driven insights, and ensures that London’s workforce and economy continue to grow.
