London, ON, August 13, 2003 - KGK Synergize is pleased to announce that Dr. Julie Conquer has formally accepted the position of Director of Contract Research Services. Dr. Conquer brings to KGK over 9 years of experience holding a number of research positions at the University of Guelph, most recently the Director of the Human Nutraceutical Research Unit.
A seasoned lecturer, Dr. Conquer completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo and went on to complete her Master of Science at the University of Guelph and her Doctorate at the University of Toronto. Her research interests focus on the use of nutraceuticals, functional foods and botanicals in the prevention and treatment of disease in humans.
