Company Description: 
The London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is the lead economic development agency for London, Canada. LEDC works with business, government and community partners to attract business investment, develop a connected and supportive business climate and grow London's talented workforce. 

Position Profile:
The receptionist ensures all LEDC customers receive welcoming, professional and helpful assistance at reception (in person and on the phone), that LEDC’s premises, meeting facilities and office equipment and supplies meet staff and client needs and administrative support is provided

Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and respond to client enquiries
- Perform a variety of administrative duties including internal and external bookings and registrations, courier and mail services, meeting arrangements and supports, and maintain Business Directories, databases, documents and publications
- Maintain reception, kitchen and meeting rooms for client and staff usage
- Maintain supplies and general office equipment

Skills and abilities required:
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products accurately and proficiently
- Ability to problem solve staff and customer concerns
- Ability to work independently, and cooperatively in a team
- Dependable, adaptable, and patient

Qualifications:
1-3 years related experience and an Ontario College Diploma in Business or Administrative Studies or equivalent

Days and times employee must be available: 8:30am- 4: 30pm, Monday to Friday. 35 hours/week

This maternity leave replacement position is a contract position for up to 8 months.
