London’s labour market, like many across the country, is facing some challenges. But across the city, employers are continuing to hire and invest in talent.
The upcoming London and Area Works Job Fair is one example of where those opportunities can be found.
On April 21, from 2 to 6 pm at White Oaks Mall, the London Economic Development Corporation is bringing together employers and community partners for a large-scale, general-purpose job fair focused on connecting people to opportunity.
More than 50 booths will feature hiring employers and service providers, with over 900 jobs available across key sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, engineering, finance and insurance, hospitality, and skilled trades.
Attendees will have the chance to meet employers face to face, explore real opportunities, and connect with a wide range of employment, education, and training supports. Many of these services are free and designed to help people take their next step, whether that is entering the workforce, changing careers, or upgrading skills.
For job seekers, registering in advance can make the experience easier and more effective.
Those who register ahead of time can view participating employers and service providers, preview available roles, and plan their visit so they can focus on the opportunities that interest them most.
Job seekers can still register and learn more by visiting the event page.
