London, Ontario, March 15th, 2005 - Praeda Management Systems Inc., a London-based technology services company that specializes in the development of administrative support systems for the police and justice system announced the signing of Durham Regional Police to its new electronic charge management subscription service. Durham Regional Police is the fifth largest police service operating in the province of Ontario. This agreement represents nearly a half million dollars in new revenue to the company over the next six years.
“With the Durham signing, eJust is now being utilized in five Ontario-based municipal police services that collectively produce nearly 20-percent of the charges in the province.” said Jim Hill, Praeda’s President. “The electronic charge process is realizing a significant time savings to police, permitting officers to quickly complete their paperwork and get back on the street in service of the public” Hill said. York joins the London, Windsor, Kingston and Ottawa police services as joint clients of the system.
Praeda also announced that it is changing its company name to eJust Systems Inc. effective March 31st. “We believe our new name better reflects our core business service and our commitment to building our market share in the space,” said Hill.
