London's Culture Days

Millions of Canadians engaging in thousands of free activities and performances in cities and communities across Canada. From Nunavut to New Brunswick, and from British Columbia to Baffin Island – and all points in between – we share all the inspiration, artistry, creativity and expression that reflects the mosaic of Canadian arts & culture.

Celebrating its 8th year, we’re focused on the heart of our city Dundas Street, the main street of London, ON to create a Spectacle Spectacular!

Everything you will experience has been carefully curated to create a one-of-a-kind experience for Londoners and visitors.

  • Ill at Will Dance Crew will be performing, for the very first time, a cutting edge mash up of hip hop and visual art movement
  • Visual Artists creating a 90’ interactive mural
  • Ruth Douthwright choreographing an original dance, featuring seven dancers performing a fusion of techniques from around the world
  • Lefty Smudges, the human post office, will be circulating mail art created by London youth through LAC’s Culture City education program
  • Erik Mandawe, multidisciplinary artist and LAC’s recently appointed Artist in Residence, will be working with five other Indigenous Artists to create a 20’ labyrinth art installation
  • Tom Cull, London Poet Laureate, is curating an entire city block of live and experimental multi-media poetic performance

London’s music scene, an incredible show from the King’s College Choir to Junction Beats Percussion Project to WHOOP-Szo and many more.

Special Feature: Nanjing Little Red Flower Dance Troupe from our Sister City Nanjing, China
Performing from 6 – 6:45p.m. Main Stage, Richmond and Dundas Street

Nanjing Little Red Flower Dance Troupe, one of the most recognized performing arts companies in China for its combination of both culture education and art education, not to be missed!

Enjoy one of the richest cultures in the world through the talent of these young performers.
