A new platform called mustangs.network, created by Western University student Maya Lekhi, aims to spotlight the university's overlooked tech talent and bridge the gap between students and major tech companies.
Western has a lot of cool people in tech that no one knows are from here," Lekhi explains. To address this gap, she built mustangs.network over a weekend - a platform designed to showcase the amazing work Western students and alumni are doing and connect them with the broader tech community. Lekhi is personally sharing the platform with VCs, startups, and everyone in her network to help get Western talent the visibility it deserves. She encourages anyone in tech at Western to share what they're building and help amplify the university's presence in the tech ecosystem.
