OES doubles manufacturing capacity and adds RoHS capability

As part of our on-going upgrade and improvement initiatives, OES has recently doubled its manufacturing capacity and added RoHS compliant manufacturing capability.

The acquisition of a new Assembleon Opal X-II pick ‘n’ place machine increases OES’s capability 2 ways: the first is that it is more than two times as fast as OES’s existing Assembleon Emerald machine, and the second is that it can work with parts as small as “01005” – one quarter the size of the Emerald’s “0402” capability. Both of OES’s SMT pick ‘n’ place machines are RoHS compliant technology capable.

In addition to increasing our SMT pick ’n’ place capacity, OES has also added a new Vitronics "DeltaWav" wave solder machine for RoHS compliant through-hole assemblies and a dual technology Vitronics "XPM2" SMT reflow oven for both RoHS compliant and standard SMT assemblies.

OES operates from an environmentally controlled, state-of-the art facility and is ISO 9001:2000 certified. Production and all assembly staff are J-Std-001 certified.
