London, ON – September 23, 2022: Paystone is pleased to announce it placed on The Globe and Mail’s fourth-annual ranking of Canada's Top Growing Companies. The growing fintech company sits at No. 163 (of 430 companies) on the 2022 Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies. The ranking of Canadian companies is based on three-year revenue growth. Paystone earned its spot with three-year growth of 276%.

“We are very thrilled to have Paystone on the list of Canada’s Top Growing Companies every year since the launch of this elite ranking by The Globe and Mail,” says Tarique Al-Ansari, Founder & CEO of Paystone Inc. “What I am more proud of is the fact that this team continued this level of growth while maintaining a healthy level of profitability, this is what we call sustainable growth”.

Canada’s Top Growing Companies is an editorial ranking by The Globe and Mail that was launched in 2019. It aims to celebrate the boldest entrepreneurial achievement by identifying and bringing the accomplishments of innovative businesses in Canada to the forefront. In total, 430 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking.

Paystone’s continued growth can be attributed to the persistence of a high-performing team, who are centred around and dedicated to the success of its clients. The year-over-year growth is a strong signifier of Paystone’s resiliency, which clients and partners alike can feel confident about.

“Canada's Top Growing Companies recognizes the tremendous ambition and innovation of entrepreneurs in Canada," says Dawn Calleja, Editor of Report on Business magazine. “The next generation of Canadian businesses can draw inspiration from this ranking.”

“In an uncertain world, the success stories of the companies marked in this year’s Report on Business magazine’s list of Top Growing Companies are a beacon of optimism,” says Phillip Crawley, Publisher and CEO of The Globe and Mail. “The Globe and Mail congratulates them on their achievements.”

The full list of 2022 winners along with editorial coverage is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine. The list is out now and available online here.
