LONDON, ON - On October 17, 2007, The London Small Business Centre will bring together over 250 business owners for an exchange of ideas, advice and feedback. "Bridges to Better Business", now in its 9th year, is hosted in communities across Ontario during Small Business Week with the London event consistently being one of the most successful in the province.
The day includes opening remarks with RBC Olympian Bernard Luttmer, attendance at the trade fair, participation in roundtable discussions or seminars and lunch with a keynote address. The featured speaker will be Jennifer MacDonald, founder of Cenabal Gourmet Organics. MacDonald’s association with the Small Business Centre began during the startup and early growth phase of her company. In 2006 she secured a capital investment in Cenabal on the CBC television show, "The Dragon's Den". Although the company is still in its infancy MacDonald's drive, ambition and ability to seize a unique opportunity has made Cenabal one of London's most exciting start ups.
The cost to participate in this dynamic once-a-year learning and networking event is $70.00. The Small Business Centre is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing support to start-up and small to medium-sized enterprises (SME's) during their first through fifth years of operation.
