Sorry! Comedy Festival Unveils Star-Studded 2025 Line-Up

Canada’s Funniest Week Returns to London, Ontario – November 3–8

London, ON – June 16, 2025 – The Sorry! Comedy Festival has officially announced its headlining roster for 2025, bringing some of the biggest names in comedy to the Forest City for a week-long celebration of laughs, improv, and top-tier talent from across North America.

This year’s festival kicks off with the Canada’s Next Best Comic semi-finals and finals at Toboggan Brewing Co. on November 3rd and 4th, the thrilling conclusion to a nationwide search for the country’s top emerging comedic voices. Winners of the competition will earn five- minute opening slots for major headliners, offering them a career-making opportunity to perform in front of large audiences and industry insiders.

From there, the laughs get even louder with Tom Green at Centennial Hall on November 5th, Rory Scovel with Jon Dore on November 6th, and Demetri Martin on November 7th. The festival wraps up in style with Sophie Buddle and Ali Macofsky co-headlining a special performance at Aeolian Hall on November 8th.

With over 25 shows across 10 venues, the 2025 Sorry! Comedy Festival will feature a diverse mix of Main Stage (200+ seats), Spotlight (100–200 seats), and Club Shows (fewer than 100 seats), offering something for every comedy fan. In addition to stand-up, the festival will include improv showcases, a comedy roast, and surprise drop-ins from special guests throughout the week.

Festival ticket bundles will go on sale during a local Sorry! All-Stars show at Rec Room Masonville Saturday, June 14th, with individual show tickets available Friday, July 18th at www.sorrycomedyfest.com.

“Our goal is to make the Sorry! Comedy Festival a national, even international event and we are super excited about our line-up for 2025!” says Colin McDougall, owner of the festival. “This will be the most robust week for comedy the city of London has seen in a very long time. And by giving emerging comics the chance to open for major names, we’re helping advance the careers of our nation’s best up-and-coming talent.”
