Food Producers of Canada (FPC) is proud to be part of a growing ecosystem of business supports driving innovation in Canada’s food economy. The London, Ontario region continues to emerge as a strategic hub for food and beverage research, and FPC is pleased to collaborate with The Grove WFD, London Small Business Centre, and the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC).
A key partnership within this ecosystem is with the Fanshawe Centre for Research & Innovation (CRI). As FPC’s research partner, CRI provides members with access to world-class applied research expertise. Recently, Fanshawe CRI was named one of Canada’s Top 50 Research Colleges, ranking #39 nationally and achieving an impressive 100.8% growth in research income over the past year.
For FPC members, this means access to a trusted research partner ranked in the Top 10 nationally for industry research income and completed projects—including support through CRI’s new Packaging Advancement Centre (PAC), which helps food and beverage SMEs advance sustainable packaging, optimize processes, and streamline automation.
