LONDON, April 8, 2010 - The President of Studer Holdings, which owns London Quality Dairy Ltd. and Studer Dairy & Wholesale Ltd. announced today the expansion of their business into London. Studer Holdings has acquired two acres of land in Trafalgar Industrial Park to build their new state-of-the-art facility and expect to be operational by the fall. They will be opening with 25 employees with aggressive plans for future expansion.
Studer Dairy and Wholesale Ltd. manufactures quality ice and distribute various ice cream products for the Southwestern Ontario market and is currently located in Aylmer. London Quality Dairy supplies the region with high quality dairy and ice cream products and is currently located in Dorchester. To maximize efficiencies and prepare for future growth, both facilities with be consolidated into the new London operation.
The new facility will utilize the latest cooler and freezer technologies not only for their own manufactured products, but also to allow extra refrigeration space to be leased to other local food processors.
Tony Studer, President of Studer Holdings is very pleased with his decision to consolidate operations in London. Construction will begin later this month, with their grand opening schedule for early fall.
