Six emerging businesses are one step closer to winning over $50,000 in cash, prizes and business acceleration services.
LONDON, ON – Finalists in the 2013 Venture London Business Competition were announced this morning. Three finalists in each category have been selected.

Finalists will now present their businesses to a panel of judges who will choose the overall winner in each category. Winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
“It is exciting to see so many new ideas and businesses growing in London,” states competition chair Nancy Kopriva, Director of Communications and Engagement at the London Small Business Centre. “Venture London was designed to celebrate the city’s entrepreneurial culture and recognize the important role that new businesses play in our economy. We’d like to thank all who participated and look forward to the final judges’ decisions.”
Now in its fifth year, Venture London is the city’s premier business competition, designed to support and celebrate new and growing London-based ventures. Open to proposed and new businesses existing for less than three years judging takes place in two rounds, beginning with a business plan submission, followed by a presentation to a panel of final judges. The competition features over $50,000 in cash, prizes and business acceleration services.
