Warren Industries to Develop Manufacturing Facility

Concord ON – (October 12, 2005) Warren Industries announced today it will invest in a new 85,000 sq ft facility in London, Ontario.

A Canadian based automotive company, Warren Industries manufactures stamped and welded assemblies for the North American automotive market.

In making the announcement Ian Higgins, Chief Financial Officer, said the company chose London because of the business opportunities available in the city and the access to a highly skilled workforce.

“We did a great deal of research before deciding on London as the site of our new facility. When we met with John Kime and his associates at LEDC, we were immediately impressed with how receptive and forward thinking the city was in their approach to economic development,” said Higgins. “As a world class supplier to the automotive sector, we believe the infrastructure, vision and skilled work force present in London will allow us meet the challenges of the future.”

Warren has entered into an agreement with the City of London to purchase 15.8 acres in Forest City Industrial Park at the corner of Cheese Factory Road and Global Drive. Construction on the facility will begin next year with the facility in production by fall 2006. The company will employ 80 people.
