Western Fair District Receives 2026 Business Achievement Award in Agribusiness

London, ON – April 1, 2026  -  Western Fair District is proud to announce that it has been named the recipient of the 2026 Business Achievement Award in Agribusiness by the London Chamber of Commerce.

This recognition highlights Western Fair District’s ongoing commitment to shaping the future of agriculture by bringing together innovation, community, and people.

At the centre of the award-winning submission is The Grove, an agri-business hub supporting entrepreneurs as they scale ideas into market-ready businesses. Complementing this work are initiatives such as the AgRobotics Working Group and Innovation Farms Ontario, which connect farmers, researchers, and technology partners to advance practical, sustainable solutions for the agri-food sector.

Equally impactful is The Market at Western Fair District, a vibrant, year-round destination that connects local producers with the community. Welcoming thousands of visitors each weekend, The Market plays a key role in supporting small businesses and strengthening the local food economy.

“Our people are at the heart of everything we do,” said Reg Ash, CEO of Western Fair Association. “This award reflects the passion, collaboration, and commitment of our team, as well as the strength of the partnerships that help drive our impact across the region.”

Western Fair District’s people-first culture is grounded in innovation, collaboration, and community impact. These values are reflected across the organization, from inclusive community initiatives and partnerships to major agricultural programming at the Western Fair and the continued success of the Raceway, which supports a vital part of Ontario’s agricultural economy.

Together, these efforts demonstrate Western Fair District’s role as a leader in building a stronger, more connected, and more innovative agri-food sector.

Western Fair District extends its sincere thanks to the London Chamber of Commerce, its partners, and the broader community for this honour.
